My Experience Being Filmed On Spiritual Cinema Circle
By Chris Cade on Jun 18, 2010 in Spiritual Movies
In case you aren’t friends with me on Facebook, you probably didn’t hear that earlier this month I went out to Boulder CO to be on film with Stephen Simon and Lisa Garr – we were filming the movie review discussion for the August 2010 volume of Spiritual Cinema Circle.
I had a ton of fun, and Gaiam really treated me like a king.
Not only did they pay for my airfare, hotel, and food expenses, they also had personal driver (4-seat limo) pick me up at the airport, at the hotel, and take me back to the airport.
Not only that, I was treated to a personal tour (thanks Suzanna!) and I had the pleasure of meeting many many more of the other amazing people who help make Spiritual Cinema Circle possible.
It was my first time on camera and while I did feel a bit nervous, I was also super-grateful for all the training and support that my friend and media trainer Diana Page Jordan provided the week before I flew out. Stephen Simon is also just an all around wonderful man who is delightful to chat with, very down to earth, and helped me feel at home instantly.
The other thing that was interesting was I got to listen in to the member discussion also for the September volume and it was a-MAZING. Seriously, while I did have a lot of fun chatting it up with Stephen and Lisa and I hope you’ll watch it, and I look forward to doing it again with Stephen, I’d still say that if you had to choose then definitely watch the Stepmeber member discussions – ALL of them – because you’ll be riveted to your chair… perhaps even moreso than from watching the movies themselves.
If you’re not already a member of Spiritual Cinema Circle I’m sure it’s no surprise that I recommend you join.
And if you’re on the edge, not sure, then they have a great intro offer – you only pay the shipping costs ($4.95 US, $7.95 international), and they’ll send you the first month DVD free of charge. Then of course if you like it, each subsequent month is just $21.95 + shipping.
On that note, if you join soon then the free DVD you’ll get for July is going to feature these upcoming films…
