I used to think that I knew all I ever needed to know about visualization, especially since I’ve been doing it for years and have experienced many amazing successes. Then I watched this video from Bob Proctor (from the movie “The Secret”) and realized that he had a “thing or two” to teach me.

In this video Bob talks about what visualization is – NOT – what you think it is… but what it really is. He talks about the ORIGINS of visualization… not the historical origins, but really the root of it inside of you.

What he shares makes sense and is something you’ve intuitively done for years, but perhaps never thought of consciously in this way. In many ways, watching this video with Bob reminds me of my relationship with one of my spiritual teachers.

It’s no mystery that we all have limiting stories from our past and that the biggest key to our success is to literally rewrite those stories… to inscribe our lives with new empowering stories.

In my case, once I really committed to taking my spiritual development seriously and doing the difficult work of rewriting those stories, miracles started happening in my life. I didn’t know why they were happening, I only knew they were happening and it was amazing!

When I’d share these experiences with my teacher, she had an uncanny ability to help me see clearly exactly what was going on and why. This level of cognitive awareness has helped me not only transform my life faster and deeper than ever before, it also helps me be of service to you… to be able to share and explain my experiences in more concrete, relatable terms.

What I appreciate about this newest video from Bob Proctor is that he does the exact same thing as it relates to visualization. Bob breaks it down for you into words and stories that just MAKE SENSE. I found his video refreshing because he “keeps it real” as they say – he makes it so easy to understand the ROOT of visualization and why it works in terms that anybody can understand.

Bob helped me gain conscious clarity on things that I had already been unconsciously doing, and the biggest benefit of this is that now I can start doing them CONSCIOUSLY with the new insights he shared.

Before you watch it though, I’m going to give you a warning…

It’s easy to miss most of the powerful wisdom in this video. In fact, I believe the majority of people will watch it and probably only get about 25% of the available life-changing insights that Bob shares. That’s because a lot of them pass by during the course of the conversation, and most people won’t pause long enough to really ponder what Bob is saying.

So here’s my heartfelt advice to you…

When you watch the video, take notes. Write down any quotes that catch your attention, write down what you feel and think, and just be present and aware with Bob. I recommend watching it twice – once now, and once again later today or tomorrow. The repetition of these insights into your brain will help anchor them in more deeply into yourself… to create new empowering stories.

Basically, whenever Bob is talking in this video he’s usually saying something worth writing down -AND- contemplating deeper. I found myself pausing the video repeatedly just to reflect further on the insights he was sharing… it’s well worth the 10 minutes it takes to watch.
