What To Do When We Feel Alone And Want To Give Up?

Written by Chris Cade on . Posted in Spiritual Development

“I get asked, ‘Did you ever want to give up when you were running across America?’ When I was running, my body ached intensely, my mind was tired, and my will-power was exhausted. Every day I wanted to quit. But I never quit and I never considered quitting.

A better question to ask is, “How did you know to keep going?” Part of the answer is to know that you are on the right path and see the signs confirming that you are suppose to be right here and right now.

Every day I would run a marathon distance a day. Plus each day I would speak to audiences in need. These were people in difficult life circumstances. I spoke to wounded warriors, homeless shelters, addiction centers, juvenile detention centers, and rural high schools.

Every time that I felt the weakest and the desire to give up was the strongest, something would happen that would give me strength and power to keep going. These were signs and gifts from the universe saying, “Have faith, stay strong, and keep going. I’ve got your back.”

It was day 21, I was in Las Cruces, New Mexico and I still had 5 miles to go when my body shut down and I collapsed to the ground. It was late at night and I was alone. Or so I thought. As I sat on the sidewalk and my body was screaming in pain, I saw something shinny on the ground. It was a red coin about the size of a half dollar. On it, it said, “One Month Sobriety.”

My dad was an alcoholic for many years until one day he had a day dream that he was talking to his father when he said, “Son, it’s time to take your life back. I love you and know you can do it. You are stronger than this challenge. It’s time to stop drinking forever.” My dad put down the bottle in his hand. Threw out all the alcohol in the house and he never drank again.”

That one month sobriety coin I found reminded me that my dad had the strength to overcome his greatest challenge. So I stood up, I put the coin in my pocket and I started walking. My last five miles should have only taken an hour to finish. It took me 4 hours to finish.

The universe is saying to you…

“Have faith, stay strong, and keep going. I’ve got your back.” The signs are there when you are at your darkest moments, you just have to believe.

That red coin that I found, I carried it with me for the remaining 79 days. I would hold it and rub it as if a genie was going to appear and it always helped me move forward. When I arrived in NYC at the finish line, I gave the coin to my dad. I told him the story of the moment I found the coin and he still carries the coin to this day.

Sometimes he tells the story about me running across America to his friends and they don’t believe that it is possible. “Nobody can run a marathon a day.” He pulls out the coin and tells them the story. My dad has helped dozens of men stop drinking in his AA meetings and he has been sober for over 15 years.

We are all connected. Physically, energetically, vibrationally and spiritually. We are never alone. Always keep the faith that you are amazing and you are here to do something special.”

This story is from my friend Croix Sather (who I’ve introduced you to before). He’s an amazing person, with a huge heart.

Have You Ever?

Written by Chris Cade on . Posted in Random Stuff

Let's play a little game. ๐Ÿ™‚

It's called "Have You Ever?" and you might remember it from back in school.

There's one twist though…

We're now playing as adults. Not just any adults. We're playing as adults who still have those childhood dreams living deep within our hearts.

Are you ready? ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you ever…..

  • Tried something new before and not succeeded?

  • Really really wanted something but didn't know how to get it?

  • Wished there was an easier way to…

    • Find your soulmate?
    • Enjoy a fulfilling career that you shine in?
    • Maintain an ideal weight and state of health?
    • Or simply feel happier and more peaceful?
Click Here If Your Answer Is 'YES'

At some point in my life, I've experienced all of those things. In some aspects of my life, I still do.

The difference between before and now is that I no longer mistake the icing for the cake. That may not make sense off the bat, so let me explain…

As pleasure-seeking pain-avoiding creatures, we all want to move towards financial abundance, awesome relationships, and peace of mind and heart. We'll also try just about anything to make it happen.

(which is why we all can relate to having not succeeded at a "Have you ever?" goal)

We may try working longer hours, try to "lose" weight (talk about a backwards thing to affirm!), meditating more, whatever it takes to step towards the lives we want to create… and quite honestly… deserve. Yet we can feel frustrated when we don't see the progress we expect in the important aspects of our lives.

This is what I refer to as the "icing." It's all the outer world stuff we seek to manifest. Like icing, it's sweet and yummy!

(at least in my chocoholic sweet-toothed opinion…)

The thing is, success in ANY area of life all comes down to REAL abundance. I define abundance as "freedom," so specifically I'm referring to the experience of truly feeling free. THAT is what success is all about.

Therefore, it's really important to grasp that abundance is not something outside of ourselves that we have to work hard to earn. It's within ourselves. It's the actual cake that we're made of. And to take it even one step deeper…

YOU ARE THE CAKE! ๐Ÿ™‚

As humans, we are naturally meant to experience abundance in every aspect of our lives. Thinking that we have to commit blood, sweat and tears to earn our natural inheritance of abundance is just like thinking that we have to prove we're worthy of the kindness, dignity and respect of those around us.

We don't have to prove it. It's our birthright. We just have to recognize the Truth of who we are.

And to help us step more fully into this birthright, my friend Natalie Ledwell is hosting a free "Abundance Now" virtual training workshop where she's going to share with us:

  • Why she believes that most people who watched "The Secret" are unfortunately still stuck where they were years ago

  • The single abundance technique Natalie and other wildly successful people like Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, Will Smith, Wayne Dyer, Michael Phelps & John Assaraf use to manifest their greatest dreams and desires!

  • A step-by-step exercise to help you quantify your "Abundance Rating" and reveal how much abundance you're allowing -or repelling- in your life right now
(She explains more on this is in the workshop, and why knowing your specific score is so important)

  • How to uncover your level of "worthiness" when it comes to love, money and freedom (aka abundance)

  • A powerful visualization exercise that enables you to instantly shift into a state of receiving

  • And you'll learn the 4 Essential Mindset 'Must Haves' for obtaining a successful, wealthy mindset

If you've felt like you're destined for something bigger, better and more purposeful in your life…

And you haven't been sure how to tap into that and unleash your inner greatness, then you'll want to join one of Natalie's upcoming webinar training sessions.

Never In Your Wildest Dreams – By Natalie Ledwell

Written by Chris Cade on . Posted in Product Recommendations

Never In Your Wildest DreamsWhen it comes to transforming our lives, I don't know about you but sometimes I can find books to be a little bit dense. Some of "the greats" I end up dropping after a few chapters because I just can't get into them.

Part of this is because many books are written as non-fiction. And while the information is invaluable, the authors rarely give much thought as to how the reader will *practically* apply their teachings.

Yes, exercises are nice. But most of the time when I read an exercise in a book, I skip over it. Intellectually I understand the "value" but there's a part of me that wants to just get on with the next chapter. To "learn" more.

Maybe it's just me?

I just want more from books but didn't realize there's a better option until now…

If you've ever felt that way and wish you could read a personal development book that was more engaging, then you'll appreciate the brand new book I'm sharing with you today. ๐Ÿ™‚

See, Natalie Ledwell (happiness and law of attraction expert) just released her new book, "Never In Your Wildest Dreams."

Click Here To And Watch Her Video About The Book

I've already read through the first two chapters of this "rags to riches" novel. The main character, Katherine Murray, is modeled after Natalie's own challenges with being an overweight, overworked, deeply in-debt restaurant owner to being wildly successful – AND happy.

This is no ordinary book though…

At the end of each chapter is a link (or you can use the QR code if you prefer) to go -inside- the chapter that you just read.

In these behind the scenes videos, you receive a few invaluable things:

(1) A behind-the-scenes look at how the chapter was inspired by true events that happened in Natalie's life.

I don't know about you, but memoirs tend to bore me. Tons of people send me their books for review, but almost every time I get a memoir I have trouble getting through it.

This feels different though. First, because "Never In Your Wildest Dreams" is structured as a novel, it reads much much easier. Secondly, these followup bonus videos feel personal… like Natalie is in your room, just chatting away with you like a friend and personal mentor.

(2) On the note of being a mentor, these bonus videos also give you the "short version" of each chapter's life lesson.

This way you can grab the golden nuggets and apply real, actionable steps in your own life. This also helps bring the lessons to life… just in case you're so entertained by the book that you forget it's also designed, intentionally, to help you transform your life. ๐Ÿ™‚

I've reviewed and read a LOT of books, and I've never seen a book do this before.

When I release my first book next year, you can bet I'll be leveraging a lot of what Natalie is doing — it's brilliant. ๐Ÿ™‚

Watch This Video About 'Never In Your Wildest Dreams'

I'm looking forward to finishing the book… as well as the bonus behind-the-scenes videos. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now let's talk about the "dreaded" bonuses…

I'll put my tongue back in my cheek, but I do have a serious bone to pick with book publishers.

Please bear with me. ๐Ÿ™‚

See, if you are subscribed to even half of the email lists that I am, then it can seem like there's a new book being launched every day. And while most of them are well-intentioned authors with good content and valuable messages, one thing that truly bugs me (and I vow to NOT do) is how they offer a "bazillion" dollars worth of bonuses to try and get you to buy the book.

(Okay, I'm exagerating… it's usually only listed as about $20,000 worth of bonuses)

The whole marketing hype incorrect assumes that people won't grasp that the book, itself, has immense value. Therefore, if the publisher adds a ton of bonuses, then book buyers will feel like they're getting more for their money.

I'm all for giving people WAY more than they ask for, so I understand. I love to under-promise and over-deliver.

The problem is, most of these bonuses that authors "give away" truly are irrelevant and not related to the book at all. Often they lack real value and end up being distractions.

In my opinion, these overwhelming numbers of bonuses are a a grave disservice to the buyer of the book. Those kinds of book promotions make me feel sad both for the readers and the authors.

The readers can get easily distracted from the wealth of information within the book, and as a result, the authors end up not empowering as many people nearly as well as what is possible. That's one of the reasons I very rarely promote anybody's books.

In this case though, I am truly impressed with the way Natalie has structured her "bonus" offer.

She understands the importance of giving you -way more value- than you pay for, while balancing that with the need to give you something that is *truly* of value that you can USE. And more specifically, a bonus that perfectly supports and complements the content of her book. ๐Ÿ™‚

Specifically, when you buy "Never In Your Wildest Dreams" you also get a digital copy of Natalie's "7 Secrets to Happiness" program. This currently sells on her website for $97, and many people paid almost $200 for it when the program was first released a few years ago.

So this is not some fake "$2,000" value — it's an actual real-world value of about $100 that you get for free when you buy her book.

And she's also got some other pretty cool randonmly drawn bonus prizes lined up…

Such as the opportunity to spend an entire day with her, and a limited number of complimentary tuition sponsorships for her newest training program. ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s 2 Simple Strategies For “Effortless” Success

Written by Chris Cade on . Posted in Spiritual Development

"The formula is simple – do more of what is working, do less of what isn't, and try on new behaviors to see if they produce better results." – Jack Canfield

Jack is one of those people who has been living what he teaches for decades, and the quote above is the inspiration for my message to you today.

And while most people I know are familiar with him – from "The Secret" and the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series – most people don't know that Jack actually holds a Guiness World Record for having the most books – seven! – simultaneously on the New York Times Best-Seller list. I think that's kind of cool. ๐Ÿ™‚

One of the biggest secrets to Jack's success is that he's figured out some highly effective strategies for making success "effortless."

When I say effortless, I don't mean that he doesn't work, it's just that Jack has figured out how to make his work seem like play, and he's also found what reduces his resistance to taking consistent effective action towards success.

And one of those strategies I'm going to share with you today is to find what already works in your life and AMPLIFY those working parts.

This is extremely effective for a few reasons:

First…

When we do what works, we're in the zone of our STRENGTH.

As a result, we create a snowball effect where we continue doing more and more of what works, and so the snowball becomes bigger and full of SUCCESS (the working parts) – thus requiring less "effort" to keep that ball rolling down our success hill of life.

Another way to look at this is just think about handwriting. It's probably easiest for you to write with your dominant hand, and it's probably difficult writing with the other one. Just think about how much effort it would take to learn how to write with your weaker hand?

A LOT.

Now consider how many things in your life you may be trying to "force" into a certain way, instead of just looking at what is the most effective and doing more of that?

There's probably lots of areas of your life where you've adopted ineffective habits that create resistance rather than "effortlessness."

Now that you know what to look for in your life, keep an eye out for times when you may be unconsciously doing this. ๐Ÿ™‚

Secondly…

We only have so much "space" in our lives for things.

Whether it's how much food we can fit in our belly, how much time we have in a day, or how effective we can be at a particular task.  No matter how much we improve or expand, as humans, we have physical limitations on what can fit into our lives.

Therefore, when we do what WORKS in our life, we have less space in our lives for the things that don't work.

Here's a quick example to illustrate how we can apply it in our lives to eat healthier…

Usually, the least effective way to eat healthier that is to remove unhealthy foods from our diet. That's because this activates a scarcity mindset and makes us feel like something is being -taken- away from us. Part of us will cling, restrict, and resist.

Instead, try out a few new healthy foods to find one that you like. Then COMMIT to eating that new and likeable food more regularly. Maybe it's a salad or a handful of goji berries… whatever it is, eat it more often.

(whether that's once a week or once a day).

Your body will like it, and over time you will find that you have less room in your belly for the foods that aren't healthy.

You'll also be in an ABUNDANCE mindset by reminding yourself that you are bringing MORE healthy goodness into your life. ๐Ÿ™‚

This same principle applies to everything in our life, and especially our habits.  If there's an undesireable habit you want to stop, then introduce new healthier habits into your life that will "crowd out" the bad habits, and at the same time, create that "snowball effect" to keep you moving closer to your desired life, with less and less effort.

Sure, at first it may take a little bit of extra effort to get things going at first. ALL changes of habit require effort on our parts, and especially when we're working with habits that have been with us for years or even decades.

Still, the initial effort is well worth it – because over time, you will inscribe more and more of this "effortless" success in your life.

Also a quick reminder that the free virtual online success workshop has received RAVE reviews from people I've shared it with…

Enlightenment Support

As you know, a lot of popular Law of Attraction teachers focus a lot on what you can get. And as you know, while I'm all for "getting" more "stuff," I really believe the most important "stuff" we can "get" is to experience our True Nature more fully.

That's why in all the challenges I'm going through right now, I'm not really focusing on the "outer stuff" that I don't feel I can get or have. Those external desires are just mirrors for what I truly want, which is to develop myself for fully… to become a more integrated human being… to live abundantly from the inside-out.

The way I see it is this:

The QUALITIES we want to live with (like Strength, Courage, and Willpower) ~ are something we can develop, and therefore have access to and bring with us into every single moment of every single day.

Meanwhile, the STUFF we want to live with (money, houses, cars, etc) ~ are something we can acquire, and therefore, can also lose. If our happiness is depending on what we manifest, we're setting ourselves up for a life of pain.

So I always advocate first manifesting qualities and experiences before going for the stuff.

With that in mind, I recently connected with somebody who is helping bridge the gap between enlightenment and manifestation.  His name is Jafree Ozwald, and his approach to manifesting is similar in many ways to mine. He focuses first on doing the inner work and WHO we have to be before focusing on what we can get.

He's also giving away what he calls his "Enlightenment Support System" that you can download from his site. In it, he gives you:

(1) A Manifesting Meditation MP3 audio
(2) The 1st chapter of his "Manifesting Manual"
(3) 30 Days of Enlightening Messages

Click Here And Get It For Free

Candidly speaking, my favorite is actually the enlightening messages. Jafree and I share the same basic disposition: Always deliver great content first. Then, if people want to take the next step and make a purchase they can. But always always always, I seek to first enrich peoples' lives and make a difference.

The fact that his messages are a wealth of knowledge is testament to that. If you're curious what you can expect after you sign up for your "Enlightenment Support System," the passage below is a brief yet typical example.

"Anytime you are looking outside yourself for the answers to your problems or things that you want to manifest in your life, you are looking in the wrong direction.  Sure, there is a Universe "out there" yet the way to master it is by first discovering how to explore the one "in here".

When you first start looking within yourself you may not find anything there for many moons to come. This is a test, and to be expected. For those who are truly on the spiritual path you will soon discover  the most amazing loving gentle sweet energy within you. It is from this place that all the answers flood in. Yes!

The secrets to mastering this Universe can only be found by those who are willing to look within. You do not have to go far at all to find what your soul is looking for.  Everything is already set up in such an absolutely perfect and divine way.

Rest, relax and you will soon be embracing the infinite being you already are."

What If Manifesting Was Simple?

Written by Chris Cade on . Posted in Spiritual Development

Over the last few years, I've experienced an abundance of conversations about manifesting, abundance, money, creation, co-creation, and so on with many people.

When I really dig down, I realize that abundance, for me, is really quite simple.

Not that I get everything anybody could ever want in seconds. That's not really creating abundance…

That's wishful thinking.

I'm talking about discovering REAL abundance for life.

The kind that changes lives. The kind that MEANS something when it happens.

For a while now, I've been looking at how I create experiences in my life. The more clear I get on that, the more I want to share what I have experienced. See, unlike "The Secret" I really don't use the power of visualization much. Yes, I use all kinds of videos (educational, inspirational, etc) and other technologies, software, workshops and products to support my personal transformation, but what about creating abundance?

In looking back on my life, I realize that creating abundance is really simple. Not necessarily easy. It's just simple.

There's a formula, and it basically comes down to this:

Input Equals Output.

In other words, what we feed our bodies, minds, and spirits, is what we'll get out of them…

And out of our lives as a whole.

What's interesting is that I historically have not focused on manifesting "things." I focus on doing the inner work so that I embody "qualities" that I can then apply to manifest the "things" I want.

For example…

If I want more money, contrary to popular Law of Attraction thinking, I don't start by trying to attain a specific dollar amount. And definitely not within a certain timeframe.

Instead, I focus on being a person who lives, breathes, eats, and sleeps…

Abundance.

That's the quality. Then when I feel abundant, I can apply that towards whatever I want to experience as abundant.

(In my case, my health and time with my son have been the primary 'outputs…')

Financial abundance is only one experience of abundance, and sadly, it's not enough on its own to experience abundance consistently. We have other possibilities to experience qualities of abundance:

JOY.

Strength.

Compassion.

Willpower.

COURAGE.

I consciously develop all of those qualities (and more) to experience the abundance that my heart's desires.

Yes, I want material possessions and tons of cash…

But not for what they are.

I want them for what they represent: The abundance of qualities I must develop and embody to manifest those objects. That way I know I already have what I want, and any objects I attain are the metaphorical "icing on the cake."

Next time you're thinking about what you want and how hard it may be to attain, ask yourself what personal qualities in you need to be developed to experience the abundance that you want.

Those qualities are what should feed your input. If you want more courage in your life, read stories of courage. Watch videos of courageous acts. Write affirmations about courage.

Those are your inputs.

Then just watch your life unfold. What you'll discover is that as you bring out your courage more, you'll apply it to worldly endeavors.

Perhaps the courage to ask a person out on a date…

The courage to ask your employer for a raise…

The courage to leave your day job and work from home…

The courage to to reconnect with an estranged family member or friend.

Or maybe…

JUST MAYBE…

The courage to believe that it's possible for experiencing abundance to be far simpler for you than you previously thought possible. ๐Ÿ™‚

Because it can be.

From Rags to Riches

From Rags To Riches…

  Once Upon A Time...

Once upon a time, yet not so long ago…

A friend of mine lived paycheck to paycheck while working for a pharmaceutical company. She hated her boss and felt drained every day she went to work. As if that weren't bad enough, she felt empty, alone, without love, unattractive, and she had a lifelong struggle with her weight.

Now while most people don't have ALL of those challenges in their life, almost all of us do have at least one or more of them.

Some of us love our work yet hate our appearance…

Or perhaps we have great friends and family, but can't hold a serious relationship together (or even find a compatible partner)…

Maybe that "labor of love" job really is LABOR… which although you love what you do, it is barely enough to get by each month.

Whatever it is, we can all relate to this woman's real life story. And just like her, we can all turn it around.

What did it for her?

She was at a workshop where the speaker had so much passion that it reminded her of the big dreams she once had but let go of. It also reminded her of the potential possibilities in her life.

She realized on that day that she could create whatever she wanted in her life. She realized that she had potential to be as wealthy as she wanted to be. She realized she could be living in her dream home and driving her dream car.

More importantly than all of that, she realized that there was an exact perfect career for her where she could really use her talents and skills and experience an abundance of passion each and every single day.

She also realized that her relationships could have more connection and substance, and that there was a purpose for her here on Earth.

This woman became consumed with learning and applying everything she could about the Universal principle that had brought, what felt like magic, into her life.

Here's what happened to her next…

  • She learned to love EVERY aspect of her body – including feeling pretty, sexy, and confident

  • She made enough money to buy her dream car, dream house, and all the things she used to only dream about

  • She fell in love both with her career, AND, an amazing man…

  • And she went on to become the founder of a very successful coaching business where she also trains and certifies people to become successful life coaches

I've told you about her before, and I've already shared how highly I think of her and her work. Her name is Christy Whitman, and she's the founder of the Quantum Success Coaching Academy.

Today I'm grateful to share with you her complimentary video series on how you can also become a successful life coach — just like she and her previous graduates are:

Watch Your Free Life Coaching Videos

The thing is, what happened to Christy wasn't a miracle. It can happen to anybody, and it can happen to you.

Learning through books, CDs, and other digital mediums is helpful but it will only go so far…

What a teacher shares in her PRESENCE – what her energy communicates to us deeper and beyond the words – that is where the magic happens.

Anybody can tell you about passion and life transformation, but when you EXPERIENCE the energy and power of a peron who lives his life with purpose, passion, and abundance it's something tangible. It's real.

It's inspiring, just like Christy was inspired.

And just like Christy was inspired, she has become that inspiration. When you watch her videos, you can see the passion in her eyes and the vibrant energy that she radiates.

Here's just a few of the topics she covers in this free video series:

  1. What is life coaching?
  2. The answer to the #1 question about becoming a life coach
  3. How to coach EFFECTIVELY
  4. How to MARKET your coaching services successfully
  5. And how to keep your clients forever

Personally, I really like video #1 because Christy talks about a topic I'm VERY passionate about myself. ๐Ÿ™‚

For now though, go check out Christy's video series. Even if you've never thought of becoming a life coach before, now is the time to consider one very important question…

"What if?"

I just watched a video from somebody (you've probably never heard of until today) who just EXUDES passion. In fact, it's one of the most passionate videos I've seen in a LONG time, and I don't want you to go another day without learning what he has to teach you…

This video is so personal and engaging I actually had to remind myself it was a video… it felt like he was standing right in front of me, talking -WITH- me (not to me, like many people in videos often do).

The phenomenal person in this video is Christian Pankhurst, and he talks about what he calls "Heart Intelligence." I strongly resonate with his message since the most wonderful things in life that I've manifested were because I was in touch with my heart.

In his video, here's just a few things he shares with you:

  • How Heart Intelligence can transform your Health, Wealth and Happiness.
  • How we defend against receiving the good stuff in life.
  • How to remove the resistance that holds you back in life.
  • How to receive more of what you want.
  • How to get more of who you are out into the world.

I really appreciate how personal Christian gets in his video ~ sharing real stories from his past experience… some of the challenges he's been through – challenges with connecting meaningfully with others, addiction, trauma, and some of his darker experiences –

And how he transformed through them to become such an incredible person who stands before you today.

Also, about mid-way through the video Christian shares the secret of what "True Self Empowerment" really is… and WOW… if we all lived by his description, the world would be a phenomenally different and overwhelmingly positive place.

Then again at about two-thirds through the video, Christian shares about one of the most profound experiences of synchroncity that I've ever heard… you probably won't believe it when he shares it with you, but all you have to do is look in his eyes to know it's true.

To Get What You Want, STOP Idealizing It! :)

A while back I posted on Facebook the following thought of mine:

If you want to manifest your heart's desires, stop idealizing them. The more you idealize anything, the more you separate yourself from it.

After posting that, I got a LOT of comments from people who wanted me to clarify what I meant. Some people were confused… after all, "how can we get what we want if we don't idealize it?" some people wondered.

And my good friend Jody wrote, "I can't help but idealize enlightenment ;-)"

I wrote myself a note that when the time was right, I'd finally speak further on the topic… and that time has come. Let's start with a few definitions of the word "idealize…"

"Exalted to an ideal perfection or excellence"
"A portrayal of something as ideal"
"To regard something as ideal"
"Something that exists only as an idea"

When I read those definitions, a few things really stand out to me. The first three definitions point to an image of perfection… they suggest that there is always "something better" we can aspire to. That idea can be both helpful and hurtful in our path of personal development.

It can be helpful when we use it as a POINTER to look inwards at why we feel something is misaligned… it can help us inquire within ourselves about how we are not integrated with the True nature of who we are.

However, it can also be VERY detrimental to your development. The negative element of that is it suggests "the grass is always greener on the other side," and if you've ever actually gone over the metaphorical fence, you've probably discovered that isn't always true.

When we continue to believe there's always something better than what we have, we get stuck in a LACK mentality.

Think about that for a moment.

We're not usually consciously aware of this, but it's very simple. The sheer premise that what you have is not good enough is LACK. And if you've been studying the Law of Attraction, then you'll quickly put it together that associating with a sense of lack is the quickest way to AVOID getting what you want and staying stuck where you are.

So at the very least, by idealizing what you want (whether it's financial abundance, the perfect relationship, the big house, or even enlightenment), what you're really doing is moving into LACK and separating yourself from the very thing you want.

Now let's look at the last definition, which I find particularly interesting…

"Something that exists only as an idea."

Taking this one step further, that means that whatever we idealize DOES NOT EXIST except in our minds… except as an idea. Since YOU exist and the idea does not exist, you are by definition separating yourself from the very thing you want!

The process of idealization forces us to live either in the past or future… not in our present. And again if there's one thing we've learned from the Law of Attraction, it's that being PRESENT and in a positive emotional and spiritual state is how we attract what we want in our lives.

Therefore, it stands to reason that if we WANT something, the best way we can get it is to not idealize it. Rather than see your idealized goal as something you don't have (i.e. as separate from you), it's important to let go of the idealization.

It's important to let go of what the goal "means" to you… To let go of how this "one thing will change your life forever…" and to let go of the belief that all your dreams will come true "some day."

So how do you do this?

1. Next time you find yourself wishing for something better, remember to change your focus. Instead of focusing on what you don't have (what you are idealizing), instead tune into your heart and focus on what you have that you are grateful for.

(If you're in the US, last week you had lots of opportunity to practice this).

2. Remember that whatever you idealize is an IDEA that does not yet exist.

Instead, focus on BECOMING in alignment with things that do exist… with what is REAL in your life. #1 points to this, and you can do it by practicing being present.

All that exists, quite literally, is in the present moment. That's the space in which you manifest all that you want… because it's no longer your mind projecting into the future it's "ideal" wants, but rather, in the present moment your heart and soul will speak to you and tell you what IT truly wants to be happy.

(and the heart and mind are not always in agreement)

3. I highly recommend some form of meditation.

And while some meditations are more effective for specific purposes than other meditations, generally speaking as long as you're devoting some time each day to meditation you will manifest MUCH FASTER AND MORE EFFECTIVELY than if you are not meditating.

4. Practice some sort of physical movement each day.

Physical movement – whether it's exercise, Tai Chi or Yoga, or simply playing with kids – will bring you into the present moment and immediately raise your energetic vibration. It pulls you out of the "lack" mentality of idealizing your wants and desires, and instead brings you instantly into what is true in the moment.

See, what most people don't realize is that our bodies know MUCH more about manifesting than our minds do.

This is partly due to the fact that the heart is such a powerful magnetic force… in fact, according to the Institute of Heartmath, the heart literally is 5000 times more electromagnetic than the brain.

And modern science is just now beginning to explore what sages have known for centuries: That the heart has its own intelligence center capable of providing us important information and making purposeful and effective decisions.

The other reason our bodies are important for manifestation is because they ARE the vehicle by which we manifest. Without a body, we couldn't manifest here as humans on earth. Sounds kind of silly when you think of it that way, but really – if you don't take care of this body, if you don't LIVE in it and use it… how can you expect it to manifest amazing things in your life?

That said, I'll have more for you about that later in January since the New Year is the most common time when people try to make changes to their exercise and diet. For now, just remember a simple truth

To get what you want, stop making it sound so super amazing like it'll solve your problems and make things better. What you want is here and now, just waiting to be discovered within yourself.

YOU already are the gift you've been wanting to receive all your life.
